What Old Time Rock n Roll is all about.
Over the last decade station managers across the country( Most whom have never heard most of the music of the 50s and 60s )have shied away from the songs of Little Richard, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis and others saying they are no longer commercial. And yet year after year when tv shows and movies and commercials seek music for their tv ads they pick 90% music of the 50s and 60s. Why Then are the managers so stupid, It is cost effective to play a small list of records and their research shows that people want to hear a very small amount of todays music. Why not junk is junk.
Here at Old Time Rock n Roll we are out to bring back the music of our lifetime. That is what we have been doing for three years. In that time our audience has continued to grow as has the size of our music library which now bosts 90,000 tunes.
